Default Ls2 rx7 with ls1 oil pan, dipstick?

Friend has a ls2 in his rx7, and he's using a ls1 oil pan from a fbody, power fab did the swap but there is no dipstick, does anyone know a way that you can install a dipstick on a ls2 with a ls1 oil pan, I told him he's probably going to have to use an aftermarket oil pan that has it's own dipstick, or a dry sump kit, but I would think any 4th gen LS motor that used a rear sump pan would work, any suggestions?
