Default Preparing for LSx/4L60E Swap in 74 Corvette

Hello,

I have been reading through various threads both here and at the Corvette forums and have not yet found the information I am looking for. This will be my first LSx swap and I am hoping someone can point me to the information I am seeking?

What I want to know is how the existing electrical system on the car integrates with the LSx engine harness? I understand that my current electrical system is powered from the alternator on my current engine along with the battery & regulator. When I take my motor out and replace it with the LSx/4L60E and new harness I understand there are several wires that need to be connected to ground, hot battery, switched battery, power to an electric fuel pump, ?
Where are those connection points and what happens with the cars existing wiring, how will it get power so the lights, radio, gauges, etc. get power?

I hope my question(s) make sense?

Thanks!
