4.8L/4l80e swap...Trans Range sensor?

4.8L/4l80e swap...Trans Range sensor? Okay i am currently working on de-pinning emissions etc out of my truck harness/pcm. I have already swapped and ran the extra wires for the 4l80e. Now I am stuck at the trans Range sensor. Can I delete these wires? I undserstand they are for idle/park when in drive etc. I also hear that F-bodies used a 1 wire trans range? Can anyone confirm this?
I dont really care about the park/neutral idle speeds etc.
My last camaro I pinned a harness for I ran a TH400 so pinned it as a Manual car.
Swap is into a 87 Z28. Also the Harness/motor is From a 2001 Silverado 4.8/4l60e 2wd truck.
