that's quite a nice '70 you've got. I'll have to add this to the x-body swap thread. are you running LS3 accessories? what exhaust manifolds/headers? and engine mounts?

Thanks that would be awesome if you added it to the thread. It helped me out a ton and if my info can add to that itd be cool.

It has hooker super comp headers.
The stock ls3 oil pan cause I have rack and pinion.
And moroso motor plates.

Also I just have a jegs alternator bracket cause I dont have power streering.

Thats why everyone who drives a LS powered vehicle wants to swap one. LOL. I know I disliked LS swapped classics until I test drove a 06 IMPALA SS

Please keep updating your build/thread as you go. It will help alot of us see the light at the end of the tunnel. Great job !!!

Took the nova out to the track last night, drove it there and ran it on the bfg street tires. Ran a best of 11.45@118! I was still only able to leave it in drive but I am MORE than happy with it cause I dont want a cage anyways. Cruised awesome at 80 mph at around 2k rpm.

I have just finished a LS3/ 6L80E swap into a 68 Nova. I raised my trans tunnel exactly 2 inches and it looks like a factory install.
