I have no problem being a dick, I'm well aware of it and am perfectly OK with it - but you're the one that's also a dick yet feels the need to point my actions out without ever looking at yourself. Clearly you justify your own actions by pointing out mine. It's actually a classic case of transference - you should read this.

Can we get past the grandstanding and get to the issue of "cam only, 400+rwhp, 5.3L" combinations.
I'm not being a smart ***, I sincerely want to know what I need to do in order to achieve such numbers, besides using a dyno that is located at the bottom of a mine shaft.

P.S. I've been wrenching on cars for over 30 years and playing with LS engines since 2002.

Flat top 5.3, CNC ported heads (no larger than a 61.15cc truck chamber), large enough cam (23x/23x with a .600-.615 lift on no more than a 113 LSA), no less than a TBSS intake, 1 7/8" long tubes, VERY stable valvetrain, and something good to tune with.
~400whp with an M6.
People seem to neglect the fact that a flat top 5.3 with 243/799 heads isn't far off CFM capability wise as an LS1 with stock heads. A setup capable of putting a stock headed LS1 into 400whp will work similarly with a properly setup 5.3 with ~300 more RPM. The problem is, those flat top pistons are fairly critical for this goal. A low compression dished 5.3 is going to make it harder. Stock 706/862 heads are going to make it difficult. You can't

4.8 with LS3 heads? I doubt it. The valves would hit the cylinder walls. LS3 only works on 4" or larger bore.
