Thanks, and nice ill eventually build a 370 lol. And not yet i Heard it should work with the 99-06 alternator/power steering bracket ill try to install it this weekend. And yea they are a pain in the *** but there is 1 bolt that is hard to get to. Tomorrow when i get home ill post a picture of what i used to get to the nuts and how i got to them.

This is what i used to get to the nuts on the motor mounts. Its a lil harder on the passenger side cause of the top bolt that's all the way up their. Your gonna have to have some patience for that bolt. Your also gonna need some one else to get a ratchet or a air gun and take of the bolt while you hold the nut.

My 91 C1500 LS1 Swap thread.-forumrunner_20131207_115447.png

These are the passenger side nuts a lil less space than the drivers side as you can see.

My 91 C1500 LS1 Swap thread.-forumrunner_20131207_115750.jpg

And these are the driver nuts, more space and easier to see the nuts. This side is the easy side shouldn't take that much.

Well this morning I couldn't wait, I just wanted to see if my clutch will fit with the flywheel. And good news it fits! Just needed to push out the pins on the flywheel and it worked like a charm.

I swapped in a 5.3 into my k1500 and we used my stock 350 pressure and return lines with the 2003 5.3 . Just had to do some bending and it for and has worked well since. Hope that. Helps you guys out.

You're gonna need an external regulator or the corvettes filter.

Did you have the headers on before you put the bolts through the clamshells? If you leave the headers off until after the bolts are easy to get in, even with 1" setback plates. I've done 4 obs swaps and never had to spend more than a few minutes on those bolts, and the Shoenfelds will go on after the engine's in place. So will shorties and stock manifolds. Nice build by the way, I'm doing a 92 sport right now, LM7/4l60e swap.

And all 4 the old P/S lines went on the new pump without issue. What's your plan for a fuel pump?

Well, just ordered arp pressure plate bolts and chevy performance flywheel bolts. Arp bolts get here the 16th and the flywheel bolts don't ship til the 17th, just my luck. Well that isn't going to stop me, going to do my fuel setup and clean up the engine bay this weekend.

The lines from your 1992 truck work with the ls power steering pump.

Do it man, the engine fits perfect in the engine bay, more space to work with than the 350.

I am going to try to put my trucks stock power steering, and the pulleys are the same, so thats a big relief.
