So my next step was the rear. I decided to keep my stock 10 bolt since this truck will probably never see the track and will be mostly daily driven. I tore into it and the ring and pinion looked great along with the bearings. I got a great deal on a brand new TrueTrac because it was an open box so I ordered a Ratech kit and one of their "smart sleeves" and I'm reusing my stock gears. To top it off, I will be putting a TA Performance cover on the back.

Tday I went from DBW to DBC.....quite possibly the easiest thing I have ever done. If anyone needs the old TB, TAC, and pedal set up for an s10 let me know

Step 1: removed two related pins from blue connector (411 PCM)
Step 2: added seven pins and ran wires for IAC and TPS
Step 3: in hpTuners I turned electronic throttle control off
Step 4: installed new throttle body

Towards the end of this year I will be selling all of the parts associated with the swap to put the truck back to a 4.3 (turbo lq4 silverado next) so if anyone wants everything or something for a build they are going to do later let me know.

Yes sir. Harness is for a 4l60e with rear o2, evap, and egr deleted. Mounts are the poly also

If you can wait about two weeks I'll send it to you for shipping cost. I only used one oem stud and added another so the assembly sits crooked if you look under the dash. And then I just cut the pedal and rod off of the s10 and welded it where it looked right.

Hey Simman, I see you used the truck intake without a cowl on your hood. Do you have any idea how much room you had there? I'm thinking a FAST LSXRT would be a nice touch under my Hombre's hood, but no one makes an aftermarket hood for an Hombre

It's kind of funny because I tried so many ways to get a measurement of distance (probably looked like a tool at some point haha) and all I could find is a 1" mound of clay never touched the hood liner in various places. The alternator was by far the closest to the hood for both of my swaps.
