Ls1 Installed, Now Need A/c

I have just finished my LS1 conversion in my 63 Impala SS, but now I need to install an A/C compressor for my factory air. I cannot use the corvette or camaro location because of frame interference. I need to mount the compressor high on the passenger side. Anyone have any info. as to what type of compressor, such as an LT1 from a camaro or Impala SS and what kind of bracket could be used? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Check out Street & Performance. They have several kits to change up the configurations, and I think I remember seeing one braket kit that will work for you.

compressor bracket

I think the moderator of this forum(conversions and hybrids) John B sells a bracket for the LT1 compressor, top right side mount.

Yes I do! The bracket holds a late model LT1 compressor and requires the use of an LT1 belt tensioner in addition to the stock OEM LS1 tensioner. The bracket sells for $350 +$20 shipping, handling & insurance. Here's a pic:
