Default Help determine a year of 5.3 motor?

Im looking at a LM7 guy swares up and down it came out of a 05 truck but it does not have flat top pistons has single feed fuel line 706 heads blue/green ecm connectors and is drive by wire. The only thing it doesent have is ecm. The only number I cant get to cross on it is sticker on back of drivers side head 10WCJK043452079 is there a way to check this number and maybe figure out a year of the motor?

A 4.8 would have flat top pistons, a 5.3 would have dished, so the seller is probably right.

Around the filter area/rear of dr side of the block. Should be a VIN lasered there.
If it still has the trans on it, that same # should be lasered on the bellhsg on the dr side.

13mm bolt heads on the valley cover and exhaust manifolds = 05 and later.

Intersting...I did not know that! Bet that helps cut down on broken exhaust bolts.
