Default Summit racing digital gauges

SUM-800600. Anybody using or ever seen these in person ? Price is right and would fit perfect in the dash of my 71 Cutlass so I'm kinda interested, I know it's nowhere near the quality of Dakota digital so please let's not got there.

I like that wish it was offered with some engine monitoring stuff but no big deal for the price.
Will be waiting to see what people say.

Default Summit gauges

I got the 6 gauge set but mine is sort of oval shaped, easy enough to wire and looks pretty good. Speedo is within 1 mph at 70, the only extra thing I had to do was wire in a 680 ohm resistor to get the tach to work as per lt1swap.com instructions. Tach only reads 100 rpm increments. Turn signals are pretty cool it's a sequential line at the bottom. Haven't used it yet for this but it will give you 0-60 1/4mile and top speed.

Default Gauges

Mine is summit brand, I bought it about 6 months ago or so, I think I paid about $275. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-800601/overview/ One that was square would have been a lot easier to mount. Cutting an oval shape into a dash with a bend was a pain in the ***. To mount mine I cut away a section of the original gauge face surround then mounted the gauge to a piece of sheet metal that I then screwed into the original surround screw holes. I used the original dash plug and used the circuit board as a template for what wire controlled what gauge. Hope this helps

Mike Hawk, how do you like yours?
Does it seem like the read outs are pretty accurate?
As in oil, (water) temp, volts etc.

Default Gauges

I like it, the only thing negative I can say is that the speedo seems kind of slow at lower speeds. Everything else seems pretty accurate. Temp shows outside temp on first start, voltage changes when fans/windows are on/used, oil rises with rpms. Fuel gauge indicates the same as the old one as well.

Do you think the RPMs are accurate?
Does it show oil pressure?
