Talking ECU in the glove box

I have mine inside the glove box. I cut a big rubber hose off to make the grommet. Cheap redneck engineering at it's best! I didn't want it on the fenders are even in the engine bay.

Mine is bolted to the inner fender. I used the tried-and-true 01 S10 PCM bracket.

I have mine mounted high up in the passenger foot well. I made a mounting plate with studs/standoffs.

For the grommet I used the stock rubber piece and cut a slit in the bottom of it for the wires. Might be worth your time to get a nice OEM looking grommet from the local junkyard if you don't already have one.

The passengers side fender is a very popular spot with the S10 bracket.

I just bent up some little tabs and bolted them to the torx screws that hold the cover on the PCM, then bolted the other side of the little brackets under the dash. Simple and effective.

I have an s-10 tray in my stash of extra parts. $25 and I'll ship it to you. PM for more details.

s-10 mount hidden up under the driver's fender. The wires that do go through the firewall use a bulkhead connector.

I mounted mine on the mount for the ABS computer right beside the brake master cylinder. I used a part of the housing for my cold air kit and 2 small screws and a couple washers and it was good to go. Ugly as hell without new wire loom, but it worked until I removed it all to swap over to carb'd.
