Guess u could keep it a real hybrid if u got the running works out of a hybrid Tahoe/pickup
now that would be cool
With the DOD bet u could knock down close to 40mpg on the highway an still run 11s at the track

LMAO how did I miss this epic thread? My only question for you if it hasnt already been asked.....are you keeping the clean pass sticker on it that you get in some states lol? Would be amazing to see you driving around NY with a clean pass vehicle sticker in the HOV slamming down 500+rwhp worth of power.....oh the joy of that image!

A hummer H1 is better for the environment than a Prius. This is a true statement. Yes the Prius gets good gas mileage. But u have to analyze something called embodied energy. This is the amount of energy that goes into a final product. Because they mine the battery material in some far away place, then send it to Germany to be assembled as a battery, then to Japan to assemble this part, then here for this and there for that... It all adds up. An H1 metal is mined within a few states if not the same state its built in. You would have to drive a Prius for 20 years to match the level of energy wasted for production that an H1 has being brand new. So drive your fbody with no cats, corvette, dirty diesel truck or whatever, because its probably better for the environment overall than a Prius. And you won't look like, well, I won't go there... If anyone doesn't believe this check out the book 'cradle to grave'
