Parts needed for LS7 in a factory five kit Cobra?? I have a mkII factory 5 kit cobra. It currently has a 351w in it. TKO 600 transmission. A drive shaft is the length of a 12oz can of Pepsi. The rear end is a ford 8.8 live axle. I know I will have to fabricate motor mounts.
Things I am concerned about:
1) can the ls7 be mated to my tko600 tranny?
2) I have s&w guages....will they wire up to the ls7 engine?
3) I assume there is a vacuum port on the engine for a brake booster. Is this true?
4) Throttle.....how is this handled? Currently a wire goes from my carbed 351w to my pedal.
5) Is there a wiring harness or do I even need one for the engine......currently I have a Painless harness in the cobra
