5/16 fuel line ok?
Depends on your HP goals and how hard you intend to beat on it.
this link gives some very conservative fuel system sizing estimates. You can safely undercut the numbers in the link above by a bit.
To a certain extent going to an oversized fuel pump will make up for undersized fuel lines, but you don't really want to go that way. if you plan any future upgrades you will outgrow that 5/16 line real quick.

I agree with Pop N Wood. I know from experience that 5/16" line is adequate for these engines - albeit barely. I built my Thunderbird with 5/16" line because it was already there and I simply didn't know better at the time.
Using 5/16" line worked fine with a single Walbro 340LPH pump in that car for years. Even when I was watching data logs at WOT everything looked good. There was a slight pressure drop on a long WOT run on a fuel gauge but not enough to increase the duty cycle of the injectors to an unreasonable amount so I wasn't concerned.
Even still, knowing what I know now I wouldn't try it on anything but a completely stock engine under perfect conditions.

If it were me, I would upgrade while you're there, easier to do it now than later when the car is all together. On top of that, your old lines are 50 years old, and if there's any rust through or weak spots, 58 psi of fuel will find them.
