After sitting for years, you will probably also need to go thru all of the bushings front and rear, plus the cooling system may be shot. I would do a lot of searching as there a several ways to do each of the needed changes. It will also depend on your car's options and what you will change. (example: an automatic changing to a 6 speed manual) You will need to make changes to most all of the systems - fuel, electrical, gauges, cooling, exhaust. Also look at C3 swaps as the frame is very similar to the C2.
But if you have a numbers matching car, you might be better off selling or restoring, financially. Original C2s are getting good money.
If the car is a roadster, I say go for it. they only bring 40K or so
