1963 corvette swap I've got a 1963 corvette that's been sitting for 30 years and I'm thinking about a ls swap either a 5.3 or 6.0 and was wondering if someone could give me a idea of what all I need and maybe a idea of a price?

It will cost between $2,000 and $90,000.... depending what you want to accomplish. Engine only, or whole drive train, all new,or all used, do it all yourself, or hire it all out, 300hp, or 700hp, daily driver, or show car. Not trying to be funny, but that is really an open ended question.
After sitting for years, you will probably also need to go thru all of the bushings front and rear, plus the cooling system may be shot. I would do a lot of searching as there a several ways to do each of the needed changes. It will also depend on your car's options and what you will change. (example: an automatic changing to a 6 speed manual) You will need to make changes to most all of the systems - fuel, electrical, gauges, cooling, exhaust. Also look at C3 swaps as the frame is very similar to the C2.

Check out the C3 conversions, same basic frame and issues.
But if you have a numbers matching car, you might be better off selling or restoring, financially. Original C2s are getting good money.

This. If its numbers matching you are going to ruin the value by swapping in a different engine. Especially a 1963, those go for big bucks no matter the condition.

Is the 63 a coupe or roadster? if it's a coupe you may want to check what they're selling for. the price of split windows has gone absolutely insane in just this past year. I've seen "project" cars going for 60K+ . seriously.
