exhaust choice?

exhaust choice? I currently have an 89 mustang w/a 5.3/4l60e swap. Seems to have too much drone at idle. i want to be able to hear that aggressive cam!
mods: 285lr hr13 comp cam (235/243 .614/.624 @113lsa 13* overlap)
PRC dual springs
7.4 chromoly pushrods
truck intake
virgin 706 heads
P&P stock TB (DBC)
2.5 H pipe with flowmaster 44s
2.73 trac-loc
4l60e w/red clutches, beast sunshell, HD2 shift kit and larger band
I was recommended a 3 inch Y pipe with a dynomax race bullet. What do you guys think? All recommendations are welcome!!

Keep it dual, no Y. Run a pair of the largest straight-through mufflers you can fit. Get the exhaust out from under the car, run it out the back or sides.
Also, 4-lug wheels? Still running the small rear-end?

Looks and sounds good. Not to derail the thread, but do you recall the application the upper and lower radiator hoses came from to fit your setup? It looks like you are still running the mustang radiator. I am almost done with a very similar build.

silverado upper = mustang lower
silverado lower = mustang upper
just cut to size.
