plan is to add
vintage air
electric delay wipers
seat belts
change out gas tank
then it will be a daily driver
as for the fleetline
progress very slow, waiting on floor pan
and wheel tubes to be put in by body shop
than I will temporally mate with chassis to install exhaust,
gas lines, emergency brake cable and anything else that
requires a trial fit.
if anyone thinks of something i have not mentioned
feel free to add
S.
progress moving slowly but is moving
pictures show need floor pan and trunk pan
installed, lot of work went into that
and most body work complete
have fitted body to frame
found a nice bench seat from a 70 Buick Skylark
that fits great.

wanted to update status of both builds
the Fleetline has taken a back seat to the pickup
the Fleetline went under water during the flooding'
in Baton Rouge last August.
Chassis and drivetrain was spared (at my house)
but body ( on original frame) and lot of interior component's
went under 8' of water at body shop
gauges, air conditioning, interior panels et. lost to water damage
(as a side note the great people at Ididit repaired my steering column
at no charge to me. I really appreciate all they have done
I recommend them to everyone who is looking for steering components
thanks Ididit.)
restarting accumulating needed parts for Fleetline, but have decided to start 52 Chevy truck upgrades
more to come with pictures
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
but am using a 2 row - 1 1/8 tube rad. ( U.S. Radiator) ~ $130
set up to be compatible with an LS motor and maintaining stock dimensions'
will post actual part no. purchased when I find invoice.
Thanks in advance for the info Larry much needed update on both projects
1952 Chevy Fleetline had taken a back seat to
an1952 AD 3100 pickup.
pickup just finished ( 2 year build ) and will be restarting Fleetline shortly.
Pickup turned into a major project as hidden problems emerged the deeper I dug.
so a major build erupted as a result.
the finish product boosts
a 1999 Chevy S10 long bed chassis with 4 wheel disc brakes
a rebuilt 350 with a 700R4 trans.
A/C with custom design vents
Dakota Digital Gages and a host of misc. upgrades
check out before pictures ( green truck ) from earlier posts
if you have any questions private message for phone no. or respond here
will be posting start to finish of this build on another forum (will let you know which one later)
enjoy new pictures (red truck)
