lm7 into c4 corvette Im new to the build. And building on a budget. I would like to build a nice strong daily driver. I have 01 chevy pickup engine and i would like to put it in a 85 corvette. Where is the best place to buy these parts
Parts list.. z06 cam and springs 550/550 lift. Oil pan and accessories. Intake manifold with fuel rails. Also do i have to change the water pump? Where can i get the motor mount and a/c bbrackets.

where to buy parts? I also have an 85 corvette. one thing I need is somewhere to buy parts. specifically weather stripping. I am also looking for a transmission that was supposedly put in the late 80's early 90's corvettes. it is a 6-speed standard made by Bosch, anyone know of it?

Beginning in 1989, Chevrolet began offering the ZF 6 speed manual transmission into Corvettes. Sales figures for 1989 show that 4,113 Corvettes were ordered for that model year with the 6 speed manual transmission, RPO # MN6.

The Doug Nash 4+3 manual overdrive transmission was the manual transmission from 1983 to 1988.
Beginning in 1989, Chevrolet began offering the ZF 6 speed manual transmission into Corvettes. Sales figures for 1989 show that 4,113 Corvettes were ordered for that model year with the 6 speed manual transmission, RPO # MN6.

any sugestions? I'm not much of a motor head, but I bought a c4 85' for 3k, dropped $200 in minor parts into it, and it ran like a champ. it now has water damage, and I would like to take this chance to make it a standard rather than automatic. and I would also like to drop a new/ rebuilt motor in it. I was thinking ZF and an LS1. if this sounds stupid it may be I just don't know a lot about it. any help would be great!
