I will need to fab up the air bag mounts, install a hydraulic tilt, add some long ramps and build a lower engine cover but overall I think it will work out good.

Great looking truck, great execution and great concept. I wouldn't paint that thing if someone did it for free - Looks really nice as-is.

Been awhile since I've posted. The COE has been running great, now over 30K miles with the swap. Since my last post I have added an engine driven compressor and it now rides on air bags. The front are for playing and the rear for load. Also added a visor and reworked the rear of the bed.

NICE! I like the visor, it looks chopped without all the work. Rework on the bed looks good.

You are correct, I used a York 210 AC compressor. They are a 2 piston, 10 CFM with a crank case. They are common on Dodges and Fords from the late 60s to 90s. Check on some of the Jeep forums, common addition.

Been a while since I've updated. Lets see here, the truck now has AC, yes I am running 2 engine driven compressors, 1 for AC and 1 for air ride system. I've swapped the seat for one out of a Chevy Astro 3rd row, the wood is coming off for a steel flatbed and to that I am adding a slide on tear drop style camper (photoshopped at this time). Still drive it every day and now have over 55K miles on the swap.
All is good,
Rob

I love seeing updates to this thread. Always impressed.

I also love that this is daily driven but I'd lose my mind after about ten minutes without a center armrest for my right elbow.

Keep the updates coming!

You mean like this? had it out for the install of the seat and I'm the same way, gotta have arm rests and cruise control.

LOL!

Yep, cruise control too! I use it all the time. Even around town. Without cruise, I'd get speeding tickets on a daily basis!

Default Brake booster setup

Hello Rob fantastic build! I'm working on a 53' COE way up here in Ontario and your post has given me a way to mount the brake booster I would have never thought of!
Your brilliant!; this is a great idea!, with no room under the dash.....
Do you have any other details about this?
Thank you
Regards Richard Price
