Wiring, what the hell?

Wiring, what the hell?
Hey fellas, I'm almost ready to fire my LS swap, I've noticed my battery keeps draining while the car sits, and today I was hooking up my standalone gauges and I noticed that once I hook up the sending wire on my oil pressure and my water temp the gauges spike all the way up, I've noticed while working on the car I seem to feel electricity transfer to me when I pressed hard against anything metal. What's the deal here? The pcm is currently not in the car, I'm using a Current Performance fuse block

By "dies out fast" do you mean the starter cranks fast and then slows down, or it starts and dies? If it startd and dies, then like the other poster said, make sure VATS is turned off. If it cranks slow after 5 seconds, then it sounds like your battery may be bad. Might want to get it tested.

Yes the starter slows down bad and then clicks, if you read my 1st post in its entirety you'll read that the pcm isn't in the car, I get it back from Frost tomorrow, I'm just trying to figure out why the battery power keeps draining off after I charge it, if the battery was shot could it cause standalone gauges to peg out? Almost like reverse polarity?

most likely you have some electrical device that is bad (switch, connector, key, etc).. do a google search for "how to find parasitic battery loss" to find out the steps to test and find what is causing the drainage.
Here are a few to get you started..
