Trying to hook up the -AN fittings from my trans to the factor radiator tank trans cooler on a 88-94 chevy truck radiator. I am having a hard time finding info on the name of this style of fitting and if a conversion adapter is available. thanks

For my Nova.. I used a 2002 Camaro Radiator.. IIRC, I used 5/16" Inverted Flare to AN -6 adapters. I don't recall where or which manufacture ...
For the Trans side, I used Russell #640520, which are AN -6 to 1/4" NPSM.. the NPSM part is key.. this is for "Straight Machine" threads.. and not Pipe Threads.. There is no taper on the threaded part, if you do use a taper pipe thread, you run the risk of cracking the Trans casing if you over tighten (which might happen if you try to stop a leak).
