98 vette fuel return question
I have a 98 vette 5.7 and as you know has the regulator in the fuel. I bought a FPR/filter and need to know what's the best way to make it all up. Cap the one on the rail? Input please
Thanks for your time

I have never done it but I would just plug the return on the rail. I have the returnless setup on my motor and there is just an input for the fuel so that will be your setup if you plug the return.

I don't think I would try it, you would have two pressure regulators if you did that, not to mention you would have to plug it off so 58psi of fuel would never spray onto a hot engine. I would find a returnless rail. Where are you located? I would swap you rails if you're close.

I have run the Corvette filter/regulator bolted to my rear frame rail for better than 10 years with no problem. I like the idea of having just one line of fuel running all the way to the engine. I've changed the filter once in 35,000 miles...no problem. My return line is less than 48" long.

Why not just pick up a 99+ fuel rail...you can get them pretty cheap. That way you can keep and use the FPR (GF822). Your feed line can be used as is. Just do away with the return for the rail (or shorten).
Have you considered that you well have to add the quick release fitting and add the barb in the feed and return lines to use thr FPR ?
either way you have some work and parts that are required to add the FPR to you 97/98 system.
