Needing to know if the 4l80e will fit without major modifications? I know that a trans cross member is needed. Please let me know if you have seen or performed this swap!! Thanks!!!

The 60 we did was lowered a couple inches. This created issues w/ the 2 pc drive shaft, alignment, causing vibration.
We did 2 things:
1. Cut the floor/tunnel and raised it about an inch, so the rear of the trans could come up.
2. Ended up putting a cv joint at the ft.
This helped, but it's still not right..Faint vibe at 65-70mph, w/ a 3.70 gear and 27" tires.
MANY hrs spent shimming/machining the center brg block, shimming the pinion angle,
too.
Also, the cooler line ports need "help", to clear the tunnel.
