My engine harness diagram says C1 and C2, but I have 3 connectors on the E38 ECM??
I bought an engine wiring harness from a 2006 Corvette. I have a wiring diagram that lists the ECM connectors as C1 and C2. However, there are 3 main connectors on the harness - J1, J2, and J3. I can't seem to figure how to reconcile my C1 and C2 diagram to the three J1, J2, and J3 connectors. Any thoughts on this?
This might sound crazy, but my end goal is to repin most of the harness to work with my 0411 PCM. I'm going to cut off the J1, J2 and J3 connectors and pin the C1 and C2 connectors. This will be easy if I can figure out how to read the diagram for Corvette harness I have in hand.

Ah great. The ECM is an E40. The part number on the harness comes back to a 2006 GTO, which makes sense because I don't think the GTO ever went to 58x. (GM knew it's time was up and never made the switch.)
Once I figured out what the harness was from, and once I got the right diagram, I sort of figured it out.
C1 = J1 and C2 = J2 at least for the lower number pins. I think the bigger J2 connector only has 72 pins, and my diagram shows C2 pins higher than 72. The J3 connector takes some of the higher pins, but I don't know exactly how.
At this point it doesn't matter to me. I'm going to send the harness back. The GTO harness puts the PCM and fuse box on the wrong side of the engine bay.
