Default LT1 in '83 mercedes 380

Can anyone tell me if the fuel in the w126 is compatable with the LT1? Thanks

from what I recall and researched.. the MB has a pump pressure of around 80 psi and contorted down to 22psi cold and 45psi warm.

If 80psi from the pump.. I take it, all you would need is to replace the regulator to be controlled 47psi for the LTx and 57psi for the LSx engines.

suggest you look at what the return systems are like.

An LS into a 380sl is a swap I've wanted to do.
The oil pan crossmember clearance is a big issue.
The coffee can sized steering box another.
And it seems the trans tunnel is tiny, but I've wondered if a th350 would fit.
Any pics, info on your swap?

All the issues you mentioned have been dealt with, so far. Currently we are matching the correct ball joints to 2001 mercedes rack and pinion and after that will come the exhaust system. I will post some pics soon.
