Wow, that's a slick little setup! Is that black vinyl wrap with a silver pinstripe on it to make it match the rest of the cluster? Or is that the original part that was there, with an oval cut in it to mount the controls? And what is the purpose of the bottom aluminum plate (the one that has the square cut out of one corner)?

The black plastic with silver trim is a new factory part. I just bought one for no accessories and trimmed the inside to fit the controls.
The aluminum on each side sandwhich's together when you tighten down the mount.

Just the power wires. Everything else was striped out and the new harness installed. Vintage Air is very helpful.

Ok cool. I'm in the process of removing the computer harness and the engine harness from my 1985 Monte Carlo. Any updates on the car or the awd mule?

Very inspirational build! I have a twin turbo LS in mind and have been liking the LSA as a place to start due to the same reasons that you have listed....great rotating assembly, piston squirters, and great heads plus save a ton over a LS9. Do you have a build thread on the AWD? So far, I have been leaning the Silverado SS type set up with the viscous clutch transfer case but I would love to see another option for my R&D for my dream build...a F5R GTM...or my 72 Gran Torino Sport if I can get everything to fit (I wont lol),

I decided to ditch the AWD setup. The car is simply insane.
I just stripped all the original Lacquer paint and doing acrylic basecoat/clearcoat. Same color...
Then Barrett Jackson in January. Too many projects

Don't bother with new paint, just ship it to me

I know everyone has there perspective and advice, but I only accepted advice from builders and tuners that have been in the ditches for years. I've been a builder, but not a tuner so I needed to seek out the guys with proven formulas. The supercharger does become a resistor, but probably at about 1200 or so RWHP. putting down just shy of 1,000 to the ground was not my goal. I was only expecting 800, but it seems to be handling it well. dyno, dyno, dyno

I have enjoyed the project a ton, but have it about ready for Barrett Jackson in January. We'll see what $ it will pull. It could be good or not so good. lol

In my Cobra days I dreamt many nights of the Hellion "Hell Raiser" compound kit. Early on, they did 1172RWHP through the factory Eaton, 4.6L 32V untouched. That blower shouldn't flow as well as a TVS1900(I think!). What they figured out was that once the boost from the turbos was backing up in the supercharger, the blower started putting power back into the engine via the blower belt. At any rate, bigger blower, bigger engine(albeit with half the valves) so I imagine this setup has quite some room to grow. And oh the looks you would get complaining about "reverse blower belt slip."

I think I said it a hundred or so posts back but I've been off in other sections here the last year so I'll say it again: DREAM CAR! Really nice build here.

This car is amazing! One of the best builds I've seen, that engine bay looks incredible! What other projects do you have going on? Thread links?

Thank you,
I have finished the Grand national, but missed Barrett Jackson because paint was not complete(since I decided to strip it and do base coat/clear).

I have a 62 corvette project right now. I will be listing the Grand National of Ebay this weekend. I have a couple potential buyers, but no money in hand as of yet.
