Default TR6060 help

I have a LS7 ZO6 motor in my 1932 street rod. I am now running a turbo 400. But I have been thinking about trying to put a TR6060 in it. Can it be done, and what all will it take to make the swap? The ZO6 vette transmissions are not an option. Has anyone tried this conversion before? Help please.

take a look at this, it should be a very similar swap for you.

The aftermarket T56 Magnum is a 6060 with a slip yoke, and better made for swaps. I you want a used Camaro, Cadillac, ect TR6060, you will have to work out the shifter and driveshaft. There are several ways to do it. I have a Camaro 6060 in a C3 Corvette.

That's certainly a massive (and heavy!) trans, way overkill for a lightweight street rod. If you want OD, why not shop for a lightly used TKO? If you don't care about OD, just go with an older Muncie box. Those can be updated internally (Autogear) with various ratio M-22 gear sets...
