Bop adapter plate, custom engine mounts, flat flexplate with spacer. exhaust manifolds are anybody's guess. Should be able to cut and weld up some factory manifolds or build your own headers. Accessory drives are dependent on clearance to radiator. Truck accessories may work. Intake manifold may be able to use truck under that hood. oil pan may be an issue with transaxle. GTO maybe?
I think those years had the th325 which was a real weak trans, I had a '82 Riveria a long time ago and it had the th325. My advice find something else that has rwd. I have a th425 in my garage and was going to use it with a LSx in my Lambo kit car and it just wasnt worht the trouble...

You know that Chevrolet built a bunch of Impala SS front drive cars with 4T65E transmissions mated to LS engines...I would look into that drivetrain. Why not stay front drive with something the engineering was already done on? I think they were around 1999-2001, something like that and they actually drove pretty well.
Maybe I'm just lazy but I can envision that classic with a 6.0L, mildly tuned as a really awesome cruiser.
