Default Couple swap questions

Gathering parts to swap a '00 LQ4/4L80E into a Skylark Convertible this winter. I plan to use all the truck accessories and a/c in the stock location if possible. The motor is presently a stock SBC, not the original Buick motor. My questions:

1) What trans cross-member works with the convertible frame or are folks simply modifying the original

2) What engine mounts and adapter allow for an easier install. (I used Dirty Dingo adapters in my C10 swap)

3) Is anyone running truck accessories and the a/c compressor in the stock location? Is it possible?

I am trying to make a great, cruiser with enough gonads to get out of its own way. Meaning stock iron heads, stock trans and converter, sub 224 duration cam, and cheap short tube headers I found in a box in the garage, modified new stock tank with sump and 255lph external pump with the C5 regulator/filter.

That trany is big and my LY6 Power Steering pump pulley would have hit my steering gear box so I swapped over to a C5 setup(spaced 1.5 inches off head to aline with crank pulley), I don't think truck intake would have cleared hood. Doug's headers also require engine to sit low or they will hit the floor pan. I set engine as low as I could, Tie rods almost rubs F-body pan, right head is about 1" off the firewall. Made my own stand with the short wide polly mounts. Cross member wasn't much of a problem, see attached picture, 4 vertical ribs welded into the cross member with a 1/2" plate welded on the bottom. Truck Denso AC compressor fits fine.

Use the new Holley pan. Get the engine as low as possible. Modify the crossmember as needed.
