UPDATE: I decided to modify the Moroso oil pan and move the engine fwd another .25" for a total of .5" fwd from original TeamZ location. Modifying the sump also gives me more clearance for jacking.

The 6 bolt holes on the aje motor mounts might need to be oblonged a little and thats it....Thats the only thing i had to do on the last 3 k-members and aje trans cross members...Kooks and Dynatech headers clear the steering shaft....

My Mustang has a stockish ls3 with GM cnc heads 11.4 compression th400

I got my throttle cable at O'Reilly Auto Parts and they had three different lengths for an '85 Mustang. I went with the shortest, either 19" or 19'5". I think the longest was 22".

Is the 85 the same as an 89 cable? Its got the spring assist thingy? Lol

Spring assist, yes, but '85 was last year for carb and first year for TBI. '89 was multi port.

Yeah I need a 89 style cable but shorter than stock. I got my stock cable to work properly (I have a 89 mustang) but its kinda stupid looking because of how long it is. Does the 85 cable have a snap in/ball style end?

Yep! That looks like exactly what I would need. How does the cable secure to the bracket?
I have the "lokar" style bracket with just a hole in it so I put a bolt through it and the tab on the 89 cable to fasten it to the bracket.

I have a Jegs bracket w/o retun springs but the cable hooks up like the one above.
