Holley EFI has been working great for us out here in Cali. Glad it is for you....

Try e85 and turn up the timing.... report back how you like the power increase.... you'll never go back to 93 octane again.

Holley has really got this down!
I know E85 will take care of the temps and cool the intake charge for the turning up of the boostesess ...
I'm gonna need to change the pump and lines for the ever-clear/gas action. Th400 needs attention too. Time will tell...

Pulled the trans pan today and replaced the filter. Everything looked good and clean. Someone recommended that I check the valve behind the vacuum modulator,so I did and what do you know? Bitch was stuck! It took me a good minute to take it out. I put that bitch in drill and sanded it a few times until it slipped in and out like hot sex. Tomorrow I will put it back together and see what happens! Wish me luck...

hey man, doing a swap into a 72 A body too. How deep is your notch in the front crossmember? I am doing the same thing ( F-body pan and all) and it seems like you had that fitting nicely. Also, are you running a turbo 400?

It's for an 85 motor home gmc. It does have starter run on occasionally...

Sweet man! Those pics were perfect. I'm going to run solids motor mounts like you have also, what adapter did you use? Did the tranny end up in the same place? Thanks for the info, badass build!

I used edelbrock adapters and moroso solid mounts. I think edelbrock discontinued the adapters but you can use what's referred to as "stock location " adapters, which would position the engine and transmission in the original orientation. The solid mounts are for small block Chevy. Hope your build goes easier than mine. Avoid shortcuts like venereal disease and you should be ok

Thank you. I'm sure it will. Its all about the combo. I'm still looking to change a few things(gears,meth,E85 & more boost) but there is the cash factor in the equation...

Hahahaha I hope it does also. Thanks for the heads up. I actually found UMI performance making mounts for A-bodys, and they are supposed to work with the ls1 pan without notching? I'll check em out and let you know! Should be soon. I'll make a thread, too busy working! Haha
