Default It's running, it's running!!!

After a long summer and lots of battles with the wife about money, I got my 6.0L running. I actually drove it to work today. I haven't got on it yet as I want to take it easy for the first few hundred miles, but it feels great. It has a lot more power than the ls-1 and pulls strong above 3000 rpms. I dropped it down to first at 20 mph for a 3/4 quarter punch and it broke the tires loose. I can't wait to hammer it a little.
happy holidays.

Jonathan

Congrats! I'm planning a 6.0L (truck version block with LS1 intake) for my 68 Camaro convertible. Would love to get some insight and advice from you on the conversion process. Shoot me a PM if you have time.

The exhaust note in your previous video sounded sweet! I assume you stayed with the Pypes setup for the 6.0L. Was this a standard Pypes system, or a custom order? Do you recall part numbers for pipes and muffler combo?

watching that video reminded me of my old 68 Camaro. It only had a 350 with double hump or camel hump heads(dont know what they're called) and a pretty lopey cam. I always used to get thumbs up and "nice car" when I drove it.. .. . . wish i wouldnt have sold it. . .. . . plus the parts are WAY cheaper for the 68 f-bod than the 96 firehawk. BTW NICE car,

Now I'm worried about my S&P pan setup b/c I haven't fired the motor up yet. I guess I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best. That's a NICE car you have.
