These are the rod ends I will be using on the 3 link suspension arms. They are from Ballistic Fabrication, and are rebuildable. They use a 3/4" mounting bolt.

The arms are 2" square 1/4" wall thickness.

I put the bronco at a good working height. Supported the front of bronco with some stands that I built about 12 years ago.

The bronco is leveled to where I want it to end up. I placed the axle in the intended location, and supported with stands for correct pinion angle.

Drew out some axle brackets in cardboard, then had a friend laser cut them out at his steel shop. Checking clearance around frame at full stuff.

I think I see your plan: get the Bronco to King of the Hammers this year and for KOH 2016, you're rockin' the AWD Cougar! It seems like you're plenty capable of converting the Cougar to AWD and I'm excited to see the results.

I used 1 of these for upper wishbone link on my bagged S-10, and they are pricey, especially as many as u need lol. but awesome.

Thanks for the complements. I'm trying to do a good job. There are a lot of guys better than me at this stuff. I'm at hammers now. I think I'm gonna put the 4l60 in the cougar without the turbo at first because I don't have the money for built turbo400 and all the bits-n-pieces. I want to get it driving pretty quick.

Adapter to mate my th400 to the awd transfer case.

Hello. I'mback. Ready to start working on the cougar again. I just picked up a th400 and gutted it so I have a lightweight housing for mock up. I am looking for a junk aluminum ls block to use for mocking up engine mounts and oil pan mods.

Is there a member around the Portland or salem oregon area that can loan, rent, or sell me a junk block to use. It's gonna be in and out of the car a number of times, and I don't want to hurt my back again.
