Default LM7 Cooling

Hi Guys, I am busy installing a 5.3L V8 Vortec engine into a Range Rover Classic which is my dune toy here is SA. Because we don't have these engines in production vehicles here, info is rather limited. Hence, I would appreciate some advice.

I have 700mm x 400mm to build a radiator. Will probably make up a 50mm thick Alu radiator. Will this be big enough? What size radiators do they run on in standard form?

Here are some points to consider:

1) I have had to remove the viscous fan and will be fitting electric fans

2) I Also want to fit an oil cooler.

3) this engine will work hard and under constant stress. It's a toy...

The stock 2 core aluminum radiator for a Silverado with 5.3 is about 34" x 18" x 1 1/4". Sorry, you'll have to do the metric conversion.
Your radiator manufacturer should have an approximate hp level it will cool.

A factory truck with this engine stock uses dimensions are 436.56mm tall and 717.55mm wide. That is tank to tank from what I can see, so I would assume an aluminum radiator with at your dimensions should suffice, with proper fans of course.

I would imagine that make an upgraded aluminum radiator for the Rover, I feel like that should suffice just as well and take out some guessing on fitment.

C5 vette rad comes out to 628MM X 438MM lots of options.

I'm not converting to the metric system til they bury me 2 meters underground....lol

Default Part identification

Can someone perhaps identify this part? It seems to be some type of fuel heater? Connected to the exhaust manifold & intake manifold.

Can it be removed? Otherwise I will need to accommodate it in the new exhaust headers

EGR system. remove and adjust tune for lack of EGR. will need a block off plate for the intake.
