e36 Lq9 swap - need help!
BTW Just quick question unnatrl, do you know if the 318is have any different rotors than the M3. I was about to buy some slotted rotors but remembered the M3 had different brakes, and I dident know if that included rotors or just calipers. Which made me worry that the M3 rotors might require M3 brakes.
CSMC, I got a quote for a oil pan from the yard, he said about 100-150 depending on which car it comes off. If you honestly want one I could snag one... unless that was sarcasm

Unless your road racing on a track, I would not worry about the brakes. I just spent last weeek studying the whole fiasco. In fact, if you send me a f-body oil pan, I will send you the 330i brakes calipers, carriers and pads I just got that I decided not to go with. They are larger than the M3's and bolt right up. No spindle changes or anything. I just changed my mind and will be sticking with the stock brakes.

For the BMW, Im gonna get new rotors because its got 260k on the clock and I dont think they have been changed once+a new set of pads. No need for a whole new caliper setup but thanks!
Yes, they are diff. To go with M3 rotors, you need to change the spidle/knuckle, calipers and caliper brackets. Then you need pads and specific rotors. The 330i setup "I" have will give you a larger rotor than a M3 and bolt directly to your spindles. All you would need then is the new rotors you are getting anyways.
Okay, well, kind of need the pan soon so I will have to pay out the azz for it off of GM parts so I can get this mockup going. Good luck on the hunts.
I bought my F-Body pan setup from Super Chevy Performance.
