Default PS Pump with Truck Acc Bracket

I have an LS2 from a TBSS so I have the truck acc bracket. I need to swap my power steering pump for one with fittings for a remote reservoir and also a smaller diameter pulley to clear my steering box.

Can anyone tell me if any aftermarket Type II pump will work with these brackets?
Something like this one from Summit?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-340106/overview/

Also would anyone have the part number for the small diameter pulley or would the ones the that carried by Dirty Dingo work?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

A type II pump won't fit a truck bracket. Express vans use remote reservoirs and will bolt to a truck bracket, although I'm not sure if it will help you any since it's almost the same size at the bottom as a truck pump. http://www.cardone.com/Products/Prod...208756F&p=rock

The TBSS pump is not like that one. That is a P style pump without the reservoir. The TBSS pump looks like this....

Ahh, gotcha. Guess I'm not as familiar with the TBSS. But that is a type II pump. Any reason you can't use it? The reservoir will come off by removing the two clips, then you could either tap the hole on top (or the side as the case may be) for a fitting, or find one that is a press fit.

I can find one for the hi pressure side, getting the low pressure side tapped is the problem. I guess if I can't get it tapped, at least knowing I could use another type II is good.

GM has used the type II pump since the early 80's and some of them had remote reservoirs. The only difference in them I am aware of is the shaft diameter changed at some point. Some were 3/4" and some were closer to 5/8". Not sure how to go about figuring out what pump has what size without measuring them though. I suppose you could go to the parts store and look at them. This one is for a 1987 Sunbird that has the remote reservoir. Pretty sure the return fitting is just pressed in though. http://www.cardone.com/Products/Prod...d=20874&p=rock

As Ls1nova71 said...I've used several Saginaw TC style pumps from GM J-body's with remote resevoirs before. I'll see if I can find a picture...
