Default 5.3l swap into obs transfercase

Thanks for the help last time guys. few more questions to work out

'01 5.3l with tranny and transfercase dropped into a 99 tahoe
Hvae a painless wiring harness - most of it is installed now
Have the computer flashed already

My next question is the new harness hass no connections going to the transfer case. so im assuming that i will be using the original wires from the old harness because the switches for it are in the cab and dont go through the new computer,,, is this correct?

my other question is for the fuel pump wire .. i am running the original fuel pump since i read it should do fine with the stock motor. the only thing ineeded to do is change the control wire from the old computer to the new one.. there is a wire provided for it in the new harness i just want to make sure im cutting the right wire.

on this diagram i thought i was supposed to take off the Drk Grn/Wht wire that says fuel pump but now im 2nd guessing myself ... any help on this

this wiring diagram is for a 99 tahoe btw

Don't have answers, but recommend you post your build over here:
http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-truck-conversions/

Probably get more OBS specific help there.

That looks like the wire you need, did you not eliminate the old black box PCM,its not really needed anymore.Where are you getting your VSS from,is it not on the output of the transfer case?

I think that is my issue now took the tahoe out tonight and it wouldnt shift out of 1st. so as i sit here and try to research it.. i think i m realizing that i dont have a vss hooked into the new comuter because the transfer case wires or going to the old computer ..

so my question is is the vss sensor keeping my tranny from shifting...and if it is how would i go about fixing this.. i have done pretty good on the swap so far but i havent found enough on info on the vss so it is really confusing me

The 99 tahoe has a standalone transfer case controller. I am not sure it interacts with the ecu. I know there is a 4wd low signal you need to send in to change the shift tables.
