Default what type of fuel lines ?

just thought that I would see what type of fuel line everyone is using in their conversions... im shooting for atleast a 400hp swap at the moment but plan to upgrade after I can build a new motor. id like to only do the fuel system once. was curious if any body is running pushlock or twist lock hose.

metal. Summit PTFE lined SS. I may switch to Fragolia REAL STREET 6000 series. They offer it in SS w/ clear covering and in black. I might switch for the black. And yes, its PTFE.

I used copper nickel fuel lines. Unquestionably the easiest hard line to work with, lasts forever, just expensive compared to the other options.

3/8 line should do what you need now and have room to grow. It won't take much before you start needing bigger fuel lines so you need to make a realistic assessment of where you think you will end up.

I wouldn't run push lock hose the length of the car.

I bought stainless braided PTFE lines for my conversion. I looked at piecing together PTFE lines DIY but by the time I would have bought all the components and paid the shipping, DIY was more about as much as just buying PTFE lines with JIC 37 deg fittings swaged on the ends. I bought an 18 foot length of -6 an two 24 inch lengths of -6 for about $120 shipped.

I looked at Nylon also but chose not to go with it.

If I ever do another conversion I will probably just do the 3/8" NiCopp and flare the GM push connects on the ends, and just use the Corvette OEM braided push lock lines between the engine and fuel tank/filter.

Denmah hooked me up with this idea..NOS -6 line and you can get it off Ebay for a decent price. I get mine from this guy and just look at his other stuff. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Stainless-Nitrous-Gauge-Line-14-Long-PRE-704168B-/330328283400?pt=Race_Car_Parts&hash=item4ce9199908

http://surrauto.com/fuel.html I used these fuel lines on my 1992 chevy truck. Very simple and they are easy to disconnect if you need to.
