Default New LS engine - to paint or not to paint?

So...new LS3,and contemplating painting it or leaving it raw. Was thinking of clear coating but I can not find any clear that is guaranteed not to yellow. If I decide top paint it, where do you start and stop? The old school Pontiacs were easy to paint because there was definite start and stop points on the block. Thoughts?

Thanks..

I Say clean off all the casting marks with a grinder, mine had some on the heads that would cut your fingers, Clean the whole thing with lacquer thinner, Paint with a good high heat ceramic paint.

Eastwoods 2k hi-temp matte clear would probably work if you just want to keep the block from corroding.

I paint every swap/install I do. I've already painted my LM7 covers corporate GM Cadillac blue to match the paint from the original 425, so I say paint ! At least the short block and maybe match the valve covers.

Goodson's Last Blast Hi-Temp paint has been great for me to work with so far. Dry's quick and covers amazingly well... Easy to use with no runs.
