1970 c10 awd
Sweet project man, I'm building an awd 54 GMC with turbo 5.3. After reading up on all the t-cases I decided to use the old style Bravada/Astro Van/Syclone/Typhoon t-case. They have a viscous coupler rather than being electronic like the newer stuff.
I put the body on a 94 Bravada chassis. 4L80E trans with custom shaft to adapt the t-case to the trans.
I thought about using Astro Van stuff to make my 67 awd since they use the same Sy/Ty style t-case and front diff but have a wider hub width than S10 stuff.

Are the diffs stock? It is my understanding that the front diffs on tbss don't like to see much more than 600whp... atleast thats what I remember reading. Its going to be close with 900 at the crank... should be around 675-720 to the tires?
