Default need helpwith new engine harness 4 wire hookup

93 mustang with 5.3 dbc swap with t56

Few questions. Where did you guys do your hookup for the fuel pump and switched ignition wires? I see the tach, speedo, power, and ground wires will be easy to figure out without a problem but I even bought a Haynes manual and the wiring diagrams in the back are garbage so any help on that would be appreciated.

Also, There are two connectors that run to the transmission but there are spots for three on the transmission itself. Do I need this connector? it looks like its for the reverse lockout which I obviously need. please help!!

I can't help you on the switched ignition and fuel pump connections for the fox body, but I can help with a couple other things.

Instead of the Haynes manual, you can try alldatadiy.com. However, with it being a 93 the diagrams might not be as good.

On the transmission you will have two solenoids that look exactly alike. The farthest one to the rear is the reverse lockout. It's close to the vss at the rear of the T56.

I actually bought my harness from you guys haha. so what are all the other connections on the tranny for? and what do the two that you guys have on your harness connect to?

absolutely! even left feedback. Just one question though. the VSS connector on my t56 has a pigtail and is a larger 3 pin. the one on the harness I purchased from you guys is a small 2 pin. How can I fix this or can I roll without it? thanks!

oh! also I noticed the oil pressure sensor is not used either. is there a reason for that?

call the wiring guy but have you checked to see if there a 2 prong vss connector that will work.

What T56 do you have? Most I've seen are 2 pin. You can buy a 2 pin VSS from your local auto store for about $20
