Can you submerge vette filter/reg
Working on a swap on a car without a return line.
Wondering if anyone has installed the corvette filter/regulator combo INSIDE the fuel tank after the pump and plumb the regulated pressure out the single feed port in the tank???
Any drawback to submerging the filter/reg in the tank?

The tank wouldn't have to be dropped. The tank has access through the car. This is in an IS300 (Lexus). The swap has been done on here by many ppl. The fuel system is not a return system and the pump hanger is entirely plastic. I think ppl put a -AN fitting through the plastic. I'm just not a fan of that idea and wondered if you could just attach to the side of the pump and plumb it inside the tank. No leaks to worry with or old plastic to crack. Not sure about it being grounded or not :/
