Default 67-69 Camaro guys.. Alternator question??

I'm running a stock fbody alternator bracket but a factory alternator hits my subframe (69 Camaro).. does anyone know of a smaller alternator that will fit that bracket? Don't wanna screw with my frame since it's powdercoated ... thanks

I had same problem in my nova. I put washers between the original engine mount and the subrame to raise the engine little bit. Problem solved.

On my Nova, I was able to use 1" Setback style plates (Eldebrock plates was used as a template), Energysuspension mounts but I moved the frame stand 1/2" forward for a net set back of 1/2".. and had no trouble with the Alternator contacting the Cross member.. but it is very close.

Using the Holley 302-2 pan and Fbody Front Acc. Maybe I just got lucky..
