Mostly just enjoying and driving. Some 2300 kilometres (c. 1400 miles) on the clock. Few photos from last night:
Gauge cluster from Dakota Digital. Awesome unit. Interior and dash are in work on progress, probably next winter
2004 Pontiac GTO tank unit fits and works just fine:

Thanks for your nice comments. Today finally managed to get in to the PCM with HP Tuners. There were some wiring problems that had to be sorted, but now connection works great. New tune and lots of fun:

Driving season is over here in Finland and it is time to plan ahead. I racked some 2900 miles on the odometer during the driving season. Everything worked pretty well after sorting out some wiring issues and managed to get a proper tune. One thing that started to irritate was the lack of low end power. That was expected with the stock lq4 short block and lsa heads. Cam is unknown and might be a big factor. Also a stock truck converter on tranny (4l80e) does not help a bit. I was thinking to swap the converter and get a good cam, but... you know how it is a never ending road.
I decided to go FI with a supercharger, always wanted to try that. So the combo will be the following.
- LQ4 stock short block with stock LSA heads
- stock 096 cam (198/209 .500/.500 119.5 lsa)
- stock recall LSA blower with upgraded coupler and a 2,7 pulley
- stock LSA injectors
- ZL1 lid, moroso icebox and good aftermarket heat exchanger
- a proper new tune
I am pretty sure that the problem with the low end power will be fixed, or what do you think?

While you did start off with a real nice looking canvas, it still takes skill to get to what you have there. Hats off to you !!!

It has been a while and the spring is on its way. I also finally did find my way to the garage at the easter time.
Whole winter I have been gather parts for the blower swap. Only main part missing at the moment is the icebox, the rest have arrived. I disassembled and inspected the used blower I got. It needed new snout bearings, other wise in good condition. Changed the bearings and ported the snout while I was there. Went with a little smaller (2.7) pulley. Cleaned and greased the needle bearings and replaced the sc oil. It should be good now for a while.
Today was the time for the cam swap. On my last post I wrote:
Sure enough, there was a LS2 cam installed, with the normal LS1 front cover. So last summer I have been driving around without any cam timing info. No wonder that the car felt a little lazy and the fuel mileage was a bit off. Also hard starts every now and then. The cam I mentioned (-99 fbody) on my last post went in and its interesting to feel the butt dyno difference (if there is any). I will break the cam in NA, so I will know if there is any difference. Right after that I will dive to the blower swap.

Testing the limits last week end. Car has been running now for few weeks. Everything works great after the engine mods. 350 miles round trip to the strip went well!
Good results with a base tune. Driver also can improve a bit😁
