I think you might have problems scrapping the oilpan on speed bumps. It might be worth switching to a F-body pan. LOL

Where did all you guys with Ls swaps put the ecu? It's way to big to put in the stock location and it won't fit in the stock ranger glove box was trying to mount it under the passenger seat but the psi harness I got just isn't quite long enough
Sorry about not posting updates Ive been driving it quite a bit off road and already had 2 fuel pump failures in 3 months don't know how a motor swap could of changed something to cause the pump to fail had a msd pump mounted on the frame rail about 1 foot below the cell to help with the pump having to pull fuel from the tank it's the same location as when the truck had the 4.0 motor

Why do you say that? What makes the stock gm pump better than an aftermarket pump? Not really doubting you but it's not really possible with a the type of fuel cell I'm running(well it is possible just would be kind of hack job) and the pump I was running was rated for over 500hp I have since switched to a walbro and changed to a earls prefilter to see if that helps I know you have the possibility of vapor lock from pulling fuel from a fuel cell but I know having a Return System and mounting the pump as low as possible helps also

Are you sure the foam in the cell is not deteriorating and taking out the pump?
