Need some help on upcoming LS7 swap
Hopefully I can get a bit of help for my upcoming swap. The car is a 95 Camaro Z28. I am doing an LS7 swap from a 2015 Camaro Z28 that I have... acquired... haha. The issues I'm stumbling on are currently the dry sump setup and flexplate.
I know there are many oil tank options out there, as well as oil lines. At current I'd like to keep the engine closer to stock just to get her in there and up and running and worry about performance later. I mean... this engine will be way plenty stout as it is.
Anyway, I'm aware of Katech Motorsports' swap into their vehicle and want to do something similar with my oiling system. I have yet to call them. Just trying to get some perspective in regards to that. Next, the issues with a flexplate. No Z28s come with automatics, and since I'm running a TH350 for current I'd like to keep it in there. Does anyone have any ideas on which flexplate I could run that would work? I'm not terribly worried about the converter bolting up as I'll be most likely getting a new Circle D converter and they're spec'd for LS installs anyway even tho its a TH350.
Thanks!
