I have a 2005 silverado 1500 454 with the vortec 4800. I am about to pull the cammed ls1 from my 99 camaro ss(RIP) and drop it into my raydo. I have a few questions. I know the basics of engine swaps. But the questions I have are..... what else do I swap with it. Can I use the 4.8 wiring harness on the engine, or should I pull the camaro harness and computer. If I use the camaro set up, how would it plug and play with the rest of the silverado. I am slowing getting resources but have yet to see what I will need to do the swap and drive my truck with no major issues. Thanks in advance.
