2000 4.3 to 4.8 or 5.3 swap Chevy gmc 99-06 I'm looking to do a swap from a 4.3 to a 4.8 or 5.3.
What would I need exactly besides the engine complete ?
Can anyone link me to all the stuff I need?
Also what's the difference between swapping to a v8 from a 99-02 and 03-06?

You want to get the engine, harness & PCM.
Being as you are staying in the same chassis (1/2ton I presume) it should be pretty straight forward. Find a good donor & A V8 tranny would be highly recommended.
