I have a 95 lt1 t56, I'm buying a 5.3 this coming weekend to swap into it. I'm going to have my heads milled and I'm going to put a different cam in it with springs and rockers. I know I need the k member from a 98-02 camaro or T.A as well as a car intake fuel rails, injectors, R&P, face accessories and damper ( or harmonic balancer not too familiar with the LS platform) what I need/want to know is what do I have to do in order for my lt1 t56 to work and what else is needed for the swap.

Also, what kind of hp should I expect with stock worked heads, after market cam, lt headers and a tune?

Easier to trade your trany for ls specific ,, hp should be easy 350- 375

Thanks, if I get a ls tranny will my pro 5.0 shifter still work?

90 percent sure all t56 shifters interchange , call American powertrain , and they will give you a 100 percent answer , great people
