Default 6.0 And 6 speed into a 98 silverado questions

I got a silverado for 700$ its a 2500 longbed i was thinking about tossing in an 5.7 it originally had a 454 vortec but the guy ran it too low on oil and burned it and the trans fluid is black its a 4l80 could prolly be serviced and fixed but what if i just go with a 6l80 6 speed and a 6.0 is it hard to do? And where the heck do you get wiring harnesses and engine mounts

Whats your plan for the truck? If you're looking at towing, I would go back with a 454. As far as engine swaps go, the LSx platform is probably the easiest to work with, but you're still going to run into issues. Namely engine mounts, driveshaft, exhaust, and wiring.
